Just read that BURTON & DEPP are teaming up yet again in a movie that I, among countless others, will be highly anticipating! I remember my mother watching this gothic soap opera when I was just a wee one in the late sixties/early seventies. I had a huuuge crush on the vampire BARNABAS COLLINS, and now my favoritis actor in the whole wild woild will be playing this cult classic - be still my beating heart!!
That's the most exciting news I've heard in a while. I have vague early memories of watching that show. Johnny Depp will make a perfect Barnabas Collins.
ReplyDeleteAh, I hope that's indeed true! I loved Dark Shadows. I watched some episodes the first time around, but got totally addicted when NBC brought it back and re-ran the series in the overnight hours probably 20 years ago or so. If I remember correctly, it then headed to the SciFi network for re-runs, too. :-)

ReplyDeleteI used to watch the repeats of this show years ago and haven't seen "Dark Shadows" in ages. I can't wait to see what Tim Burton will do! And Johnny Depp as well... yummy!
